Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using Facezy (the "Service") you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Service. The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over; if you are under 13 you may not create an account.

2. Description of the Service

Facezy is a platform that lets users upload their own photos and generate AI videos from ready-made templates. Only the photos a user uploads themselves are used in the videos they create. Video creation is charged against an in-platform balance called coins.

3. Account

You create an account by signing in with your Google account; you do not set a separate password. You are responsible for the security of your account and for keeping access to your Google account private. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page; deletion is irreversible and you will not be able to sign in with that account again.

4. Coins and Payments

• A coin is an in-platform usage right purchased with real money; it is not legal tender, cannot be converted to cash, cannot be transferred, and cannot be moved to another account.
• Coins you have spent are final. Once coins have been spent on a generation that completed and was delivered to you, they are not refunded and cannot be converted into money or anything else — producing that video costs us money the moment it runs. Not liking a result is not in itself grounds for a refund. Coins you have not spent can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, as set out in our Refund Policy.
• When a video creation request is started, the corresponding coin amount is deducted from your balance.
• If a creation cannot be completed because of a technical error, the coins spent are automatically restored to your balance — this is the return of an unused right, not a refund of money.
• Filing an unjustified dispute ("chargeback") through your payment provider (bank/card issuer) will cause your account to be suspended immediately while the amount is investigated; if the dispute is found to be unjustified, your account may be closed permanently.
• Coin package prices and contents may be updated without prior notice; an update does not affect coins you have already purchased.
• Coin package prices are set in US dollars (USD). Collection is made in the currency our payment provider settles in at the time; where that differs, the conversion rate current at the time of purchase applies. The amount to be charged is shown on the payment screen before you pay. Facezy is not responsible for conversion or transaction differences applied by your card issuer.
• The above applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer-law provisions that require a refund.

5. Content Rules

You are solely responsible for every photo or video you upload to Facezy. Uploading or creating the following is prohibited:

• Using another person's face or photo without their explicit consent.
• Sexual, obscene content, or content involving minors.
• Content containing hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence or discrimination.
• Content that portrays a public figure in a misleading or defamatory way, or as if it were a real event or statement (deepfake misuse).
• Content that infringes any third party's copyright, personality rights or other intellectual property rights.

If we determine that you have broken these rules, we may suspend, remove or permanently close your account and/or the content in question without prior notice.

6. Creator Templates

Some templates are uploaded not by Facezy but by independent users ("creators") who have been approved after accepting a separate Creator Agreement. Facezy provides only a hosting service for these templates and publishes them without a review or approval process. The creator separately represents and warrants that they hold all rights to the content they upload, or hold the necessary permission or licence, and is solely responsible for the accuracy of that representation.

If you believe a template infringes a copyright, a personality right (for example an actor's or public figure's image used without permission) or any other right, you can tell us using the "Report" link on that template's page, or by writing to info@facezy.co. Where we find a report justified, we remove the template within a reasonable time; creators who accumulate repeated justified reports have their access permanently revoked.

7. Intellectual Property

The video templates (other than those uploaded by creators), the interface design and the Facezy brand belong to Facezy. The photos and videos you upload belong to you; we process them solely to produce the video result you asked for. You may share the resulting video for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Video Retention

Completed result videos are kept on our servers for 7 days from the date they were created and are deleted automatically at the end of that period. We recommend downloading your video before it expires — see My Creations.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality or uninterrupted availability of AI-generated results; Facezy is not responsible for the content of templates uploaded by creators. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facezy's total liability arising from this Service cannot exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the relevant event; under no circumstances can we be held liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profit.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and defend Facezy, its employees, directors and partners against any third-party claim, damage, loss, liability and expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, from content you upload or create, from a template you publish as a creator, or from your breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. For any dispute arising from these terms you accept, to the extent permitted by law, the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Azerbaijan.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we update the "last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the current terms.
